The Idea Pro has one of the lowest centers of gravity (CG) and highest moment of inertias (MOI) on the tour, and it was the #1 hybrid on the Champions and Nationwide Tours, and #2 hybrid on the PGA Tour in 2006. It features a pull-face construction with a custom steel face, designed for low spin and enhanced ball speed. There’s also an adjustable weight screw in the sole to allow for swingweight and shaft adjustment.

The Idea Pro also comes with Aldila VS Proto “By You” graphite shaft, which incorporates lightweight, super-strong carbon nanotube particles into Aldila’s proprietary A65 Performance Resin System. And it offers a Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip–with an exclusive, state-of-the-art rubber-blend compound with a computer-designed, non-slip surface pattern for maximum playability, comfort, and confidence.

Moment of Inertia–This is the term applied to a clubhead’s resistance to twisting when the ball is struck, and it can be expressed as a numerical measurement. A clubhead with a higher moment of inertia (or MOI) has greater resistance to twisting and offers more forgiveness on off-center hits (i.e., will fly straighter). The size and weighting properties of a clubhead can be manipulated to add a greater MOI.
