I am an 18 handicap, started earlier this year, picked it up quite quickly as i tee off with a guys who have been playing for a while, some play university level golf. Switched up drivers, as my Dunlop was very amateur like, flexy shaft, no real pop off the head.
This taylor made tour burner hits straight and pure if you can get your head speed up to par. I had my swing analyzed before i purchased it, it was between a callaway ft5 and the tour burner. The tour burner allowed me to achieve an average of 105mph club head speed, which was apparnetly what you need for a stiff shaft.
I took it to the range shortly after i bought it and hit straight, 275yard drives consistantly.
It doesn’t sound as good as the callaway, but it sure feels good.
